In 2019, we had a few paths we could have taken but we decided out best route was also the simplest. Focus on promoting and exploiting our back catalogue of amazing albums that still had so much life in them! So, we had some fun, pushing out amazing missed releases, like Steve Swindells "The Lost Albums" and 'HFAR: A New Dawn'. Some great stuff there, make sure to check them out if you haven't already!
Of course, that's not to say we didn't put out any new stuff. Not at all!
Flicknife stalwarts Electric Cake Salad released their latest 'Live Terremotour'. I love a good pun as much as the next person, but the real treasure of that album, was the music! Read that review...
Another worthy release was Lastwind's second album 'High On Life', which not only picked up some good airplay and very favourable reviews, it was SO popular with the fans, it even boosted the sales of their first album, 'Return Of A Sonic Assassin'. Great work, all!
Lastly, we released a few (10 actually) albums into the digital world! They were all fantastic, of course. We only release quality! A personal favourite of our digital output was Malcom Dixon's 'Microwave Pants'. Psychedelic Punk at its finest. Also, reminded me to microwave my pants on a winter morn'. Toasty!
